Trying To Design Our Back Yard/entertainment Area?
I have been racking my brain trying to find some ideas on the web. I am looking to create an outdoor living area (wood deck)that would include an oval above ground pool & spa(that has a locked gate seperate from the rest but still allows everyone to converse etc) and a patio/bbq/sitting area for entertaining. We also want to add a grass area out there where the kids can play and where we can put their playscape. We are on 10 acres so space is not an issue, I just am having a hard time laying it out. Anyone have an ideas or know of any websites with good pictures and ideas?

HGTV has a great website that is chock full of ideas. I believe it’s http://www.hgtv.com. I know you can buy computer software that allows you to create landscapes using various templates, this just might help to kick-start your creative juices! I don’t think it’s very expensive software either. You might just try going to a local nursery and walking around. They will often have different literature with various landscaping options and ideas. Once there you may see a bunch of different things that really get the ideas flowing. Hope this helps…it’s so exciting to plan something like this.
