...suggestions, or online instruct videos My deck is currently stained a very solid non-wood like color. It is very thick, almost like a paint. I have recently tried to take a power sprayer to it to strip it, but it doesn't take the finish off too well. It imprints into the wood when I get the sprayer to a level where it can strip the deck, and it also takes the paint off literally only the width of the thin line of spray. Adjusting the spray to a wider adjustment does not strip the deck.

I've got a large hardwood deck, I used decking oil last year but I am not impressed with the result. It hasn't stopped the wood denaturing and going grey and in places has peeled off. When I applied the oil I wiped away any surplus so it wasn't to thick (and d*mned hard work it was too!) Now I'm cleaning the deck with a high pressure washer and any oil left is just washing away. I'm tempted to try a modern varnish (like yacht varnish) but I'm worried that will flake off too and be much har
